In the midst of a spat, film critic Terry Thorpe (William H. Macy) accidentally kills his lover. Though Thorpe covers his tracks, he raises the suspicions of a private investigator (James Cromwell), who then tries to blackmail him. Thorpe also falls under the watchful eye of Detective Fred Stapelli (Adam Arkin), a cop who is intent on becoming a screenwriter. Before long, Thorpe's girlfriend, Kit (Felicity Huffman), and Stapelli's wife, Patricia (Julia Campbell), are roped into the case.

So Many Connected Television sets. A high number of respondents say their TVs are already connected to the Internet. Over 22% said they had a connection. Another 25% said their TVs weren't connected, but they would like those to be. With such numerous potential movie streamers, it could tempting to think many would rather stream over Blu-ray. Strong Interest in Streaming. Over 50% or respondents said that they either stream movies now or would like to stream films. Does this signal the turn down of Blu-ray?
